Crochet by Numbers Projects

This is the Very First Project I did from one of Todd Pascal (owner of Crochet by Numbers) of my Parents (after my step dad passed away).

This is my Husband pet Bird, Tukki.  I created this piece of Tukki from a pattern created by a lady named Lee of Ravelry Group.  She used the Kpg program on line to create this pattern.  I'm amazed how she's able to remove the original background from the photo I sent her and put what ever color she wanted for the background.
This is my 3rd Crochet by Number of Marilyn Monroe I've done for one of my Sisters upon request.  All I have to do is mount it and get it to her.

Crocheted cat pattern, but forgot the original name of this cute pattern.  Created by a Japanese Designer I found through Ravelry.  I would like to make a small spindle for my kitty to hold and make her look like she spins.

Latest Saori Woven Cloth and Return to Sender Spinning

Full Length of my Saori Weaving.  It turned out to be 17-1/2 Wide and 1-3/4 Yards.

Saori Weaving close up. Red is the dominating color and you can see scraps of other yarns of different length.  Good way to use up scrap yarn most people throw out.

Center close up of the Saori Weaving.  This is the 2nd attempt to this type of weaving and done on a 20" wide Rigid Heddle Loom made by Beka.

Saori Woven Cloth. The Back end that I left a really short fringe.

Return to Sender of 2012.  This is 85% Bluefaced Leicester and 15% Tussah Silk which is so soft.  The colors are natural dyed. The denim blue (which you can't see comes from indigo. The apple green is weld overdyed with indigo.  The Dijon mustard yellow is fustic and the brick red is a blend of cochineal and madder.  Ground wood and roots, leaves, flowers and an insect were used to dye the batt this yarn was spun from.  The batt was easy to spin from the types of fibers blended together. There's 2 ounces of fiber spun on this spindle and I'm spinning another 1 ounce of Tussah to ply with this yarn.  Will post a photo later.  I won't get this done in time for judging for CNCH.

Crocheted Lizard Bookmarks

These are cute bookmarks I made from yarn I spun. I got some moving eyes and glued them on to make them look lively.
